Educational Meetings

MVS hosts four local meetings annually around Michigan:

Winter Meeting
Our Winter Meeting will be held on February 5, 2026 at the Vistatech Center in Livonia, MI. This event emphasizes and encourages early-career vascular surgeons, trainees, and students to present their work. It’s an excellent platform for sharing ideas and research.
Spring Meeting
Our Spring Meeting will take place May 20-26, 2026 at Highlands Harbor Springs, Harbor Springs, MI. In conjunction with BMC2 Vascular Surgery Physician Meeting, this meeting combined quality metrics and presentations from national speakers.
MVSS Annual Meeting
SAVE THE DATES!! Plan to join us as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society, September 17-20, 2026 at The Drake Hotel in Chicago, IL. We’re taking it back to where it all began! Special this year, we will host a Black Tie (optional) Gala Dinner on Saturday night so plan to stay the weekend!
Social Meeting
This is a fun and exciting event to bring your loved ones for an evening with fun and adventure. Date and location TBD.
Fall Meeting
This is a combined BMC2/VS/SVS/VQI Physician Meeting. Date and location TBD.

Travel Support for Students

The Michigan Vascular Society (MVS) is offering scholarships to attend the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society Annual Meeting in Cincinatti, OH, on Sept 18-20, 2025, to medical students within the state of Michigan.

This scholarship will be a reimbursement in the amount of $1,500 per student and is to be used for travel. Registration may be performed on site at the meeting and is complimentary for students.

Applications must be received by August 10, 2025. Awards will be announced the week of August 18, 2025.
